hey readers.
Its been a long time since i've blogged and i've got so much to say. A' levels are over and I'm in the MotherLand trying to enjoy myself. With the "India Booming" slogans and stuff you might think stuff oiver here is going pretty well but it ain't. Anyone who says so is either bullshitting or of narrow vision. The peripheral comforts are, without a doubt more sophisticated but fundamental infrastructure is lacking, totally. The roads are in poor condition. Like you know when you do 12th grade physics, they tell you that you can ignore air resistance? It's kinda like the same thing. Ignore the road. I dirt track is probably better because it would be muddy and that would be better than having holes which hurt your back when you ride over them. When I was cycling this morning I thought about what might happen if the residents protested by not paying taxes until the roads were permanently fixed. That would be chaotic but it mihgt work.
I'm currently reading Gandhi's "What is Hinduism?" Which kind of changed my view of Gandhi. He isn't the kind of person the guys at HU would paint him to be. I think both the Mahatma (great soul) and Duratma (the opposite) labels are wrong. I think we should see Gandhi as a wise person but at the same time retain our freedom to choose which of his ideas we believe would be useful to us. Its really up to us.
Currently I have on my hands the following books.
The Essential Aurobindo
The Partition of India
And a few others, I can't recall the titles and my CyberCafe time is almost up.

I stopped posting here and am now at medschneverends
Hi. Welcome to Epiblast! The name is partly inspired by PZ Myers famous blog, Pharyngula partly by the fact that the epiblast, a simple tissue in a developing embryo (labelled 5), gives rise, eventually, to virtually everything inside our body. It's a metaphor for how some of our simple, fundamental ideas vastly affect the other aspects of our life. This blog covers my interests; usually science, medicine, atheism, religion. I might sneak in a bit of philosophy or magic if I feel like it. I warn you, the discussion gets uncomfortable and I come to conclusions which are unconventional, maybe contradictory to yours. Don't go crying to someone if you are offended.© Copyright Epiblast!. All rights reserved.
